This bathtub is part of artist Tetsuya Nakamura’s series of luxury bathroom fixtures – the Premium Unit Series. They’re supposed to evoke a sense of speed, which when wet and lathered in soap is the safest way to bathe. The tub costs $26,000 and the other pieces in the series are $13,000. Form should usually follow function, but it looks like function got lost on the way to the Daytona Brickyard. |via UberReview|
