It took us a minute to figure out how Rudi Soap Holder works, but the basic concept involves a magnetized hand that holds the soap above your sink surface. To make it work, you insert the item’s second magnetic piece into the bar of soap, and the contraption will then magnetically hold on. It works pretty well for long enough to enjoy the gimmick, but it’s a little difficult to keep up once you wear the soap down. It’s also messy if you don’t have a dish underneath to catch dripping water, but it ultimately saves you from the soap scum that tends to collect in a dish.
